You can send your speedo in at Brother's Performance and the recalibrate it while putting on BBK's faces on for a 170mph...all for $59.95...

the speedo on ebay is in a ford motorsports box so i would guess it's a genuine ford aftermarket peice

Yes they are right. Cop cars did come with 140 speedos. Had one in my 84 looked awesome. I now have a 170 in my 86 looks even better. I would recommend the recelibration if your needle doesn't have any problems bouncing. I have seen some 140 speedos that were used and the needle did a little bouncing while crusing. Just a suggestion, not sure if this is a common problem

I noticed that the speedo on ebay was in a ford motorsports box. I am just not familiar enough with what ford motorsport offered to know if it is the real thing.

Maybe I am being ****, I just like to use factory parts if possible, and I think it would be neat to have an original 140 speedo from ford motorsports.
