Default Idle question Is it right?

Wen my car is in Neutral its Idle is at 1200-1500 Rpm starts at 15 then slowly drops 2 1200 maybe 1000rpm sometimes. Wen the car is in Drive it Idles at about 800-1000Rpms. Also wen I rev it the Rpms stay high and slowly come down. By slowly I mean about 1 min b4 it gets 2 wat is at the current time normal idle. I dout the Idle is right but i wanna make sure, and is the throttle gettin stuck or something wen i rev it.

see if the throttle body or IAC are plugged up with gunk. clean those off --- might help with the slow RPM drop and idle as well

Mine idled at 600-700 in gear after warmup (automatic) until I put in my 155lph fuel pump... now mine idles exactly like yours.

I'm pretty sure I need a better fuel pressure regulator (like a Holley or BBK adjustable... I'm running a stocker now) and I should be able to fix that... (fuel pressure is a tad too high)
