The only thing I can figure is that it is my backspacing. These things rubbed BAD!!! The tires are still OK to use. It was considerably worse on the driver's side. I'm no lightweight (240 lbs), so I guess that may have had some to do with it.

I'm seriously considering just ordering a set of Draglites with 5.5" bs on the rear and be done with it.

 

mine are 4.5,and i weiggh 220lbs...

 

his are 4 inch that sets the tire out further. so yes it rubs. sry bro.

 

I run 4.5 B.S. Superlites with 255\60\15's..... I had to roll the fenderwell lip & keep the rear up a bit..... Since i have airbags in both springs; i simply keep 5 psi in both at all times.....

 

i have 275x60-15s with 4.5 bs and they rub just a hair on a hard turn while giving it gas.

you guys with the 275 tires are any of them on the stock turbine (i think thats what theyre called) that came with '90 and earlier GTs

 

I'd never run that big of a tire on a 15x7" turbine not 10-hole....

 

Just as I thought, the shop basically said there was nothing they would do. I don't think it was right, but what can you do. Life's too short to worry about this kind of stuff.

I got both tires back and I think I can salvage the driver's side.
