Silencer...?

Ok so i've seen a few posts about removing you're silencer off you're car to give you a little extra hp.

My question is.. wtf is the silencer??

inside the fender attached to the intake system, just there to make things quieter

Yeah i've been told by the air box, but really my question is what does it look like..?

like a round plastic muffler inside the fenderwell attached to your airfilter box

I took off mine, and noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever. But it was some dead weight removed. lol
