Default Roller Rockers

Does anyone have any tips on istalling roller rockers? I purchase the cobra 1.7 pedistal mounts for my 88 GT. I got installation directions from Crane but I still dont think im doing it right. It told me to get each pushrod in one cylinder at the same height and then snug up the bolts that hold them down. Then tighten 1/2 turn. When i turn over the engine the rockers are so loose they are almost flopping around. Any info would be great! Thanks!

I'm fairly certain that with a stock cam and lifters and pushrods, there isn't any adjustment made on the pedestal mount rocker arms, you're supposed to tighten them down to a certain torque spec and that's it. you can call the Ford Tech hot line at 586-468-1356 to be absolutely certain though.
