Hello all

I'm doing a 87 Notch 2.3 to 5.0 swap and staying auto with an AOD... I'm changing out my radiator and was told to get a radiator for a manual transmission and go with an external trans cooler. Can anybody recommend one? Should I mount it in front of my radiator? What do you guys think of the ones with the fans attached? Overkill? Thanks.

the 2.3 AOD is weaker than the 5.0 AOD

how to tell the difference:
- the 5.0 AOD dosnt have a 2nd gear option in the shift box (1-D-OD-N-R-P)

i suggest upgrading or rebuilding the transmission with tougher parts and a shift kit
