RE: my roller rockers are still noisy
i have done the same thing. but mine are still a bit noisy too.
i have the whole trick flow top end kit so everything should work together correctly.
i have adjusted them as said in sticky and still some noise out of them
should i be concerned?

RE: my roller rockers are still noisy
With the pedestal mount rockers, you need shims to adjust the preload and should be torqueing them to 19 ft/lbs. Pedestal mount rockers are only adjustable with shims. After getting the pushrod to zero lash, you should then do the torque down step. On this step you are preloading the lifter, you should have no less than 1/2 a turn and no more than one turn to get your 19 ft/lbs. If it takes more, add a shim, if it takes less remove, if you don't have any more to remove you need longer push rods. Shims are usually .030 and .060 thick. Try it that way....You probably did, but I couldn't help myself...

RE: my roller rockers are still noisy
the only time I have had "acceptable noise" from lifters is from solid lifters......I'd check everything again if hydraulic lifters are set properly there should not be any "lash" unless they are "dry". Leastwise in all setups I have been involved with.
good luck
