Just wondering about installing the 87 to 93 quater windows on this car. I like the aero windows and mirrors on the 87 to 93 cars and I know how to do the front clip and tail light change. Will the newer style quater windows go into the 86 body?

but yes the newer windows will fit your car i was thinking about doing them but i dont want to take the time the louvers look fine

They fit with a few mods. You'll have to change the interior panels to '87-'93 style since the window opening is different and the brackets are exposed if you don't. You also have to drill a new hole or two and make a couple of simple brackets. Fairly easy to do, but I think I'd rather just use SVO style sail panels next time. They look nice and are a straight swap.

i agree. 4eyes just look better than the aeronose front end. unless of course your front end is damaged, then i can see where you might want to change it.

tokin even if it was damaged its just an excuse to put an 84 or 82 gt nose on if you have an lx nose

but they are harder to come by, there are tons of aeros in junkyards compared to the 4eyes.

if i ever bought a 87+ fox, i would so ditch that for a 4 eye front end.

and i love how they used the 83-86 style tail lights on the 93 cobra.

4 eyes do look good but i like aeros it just look better. not trying to bash aney one cause i have a 4 eyed mustang and a aeros
