EBrake light
I have a '90 5.0HO LX Convertible 4 spd Automatic, w/ minor mods, MAC CAI, BBK Headers, BBK H Pipe, Magnaflow Cat back, MSD Ignition, when i accelerate hard, my e-brake light luminates in the dash panel until i hit 65-70 and then it goes off on its own. I've checked the cable and handle, both are free moving and work properly, any ideas on a fix to this? I've tried dissconnecting the battery to no luck.

RE: EBrake light
How's the brake fluid level in the pump reservoir?.... if it's low the level switch will cause the brake indicator to light on...specially under hard acceleration. You might also want to check the pressure switch at the proportional valve underneath the master pump. My 2ยข.

PS: Even if the level is ok at the master, the level switch may be intermittent, disconnect it and check if the brake indicator turns on.
