Default Need AFR 165 HELP Please!

I was all ready to order my heads tonight and ran into a few problems. I talked to AFR and they said since their valve springs are stronger than the stock ones I would need to run hardened pushrods even with the pedestal mount heads, even though it says on their site hardened pushrods are only necessary for the stud mount rocker heads. He said I need to measure to see what length pushrod i need, how would i go about doing this? I thought this was going to be fairly simple and now i am so confused, please help!

they said the stock arent even 100, the standard springs are 120 and the upgraded ones (which i was gonna get) are 150... so they're a good deal stronger. Dont you have the 185s?
