Default CONVERTING TO FUEL INJECTION

Want to know if I go with fuel injection do I need to have all emission systems working including EGR . Engine is currently 306 10:1 compression,trick flow heads,victor jr. intake,750 holley.Will use gt-40 intake , engine is going into 88 LX that was speed density but has been converted to mass air. Want to use car for some track use and daily driver.

As long as you're not in a smog state, you'll be fine without EGR and the smog pump.

Correct.

My car has no EGR, and didnt have a smog pump, and no problems. My other car has no EGR and smog pump disabled, and no problems.
