Default 15x8 or 15x10

wich would look better 15x8 or 15x10 on a set of 275/50/15's and would 15x10's fit as long as i turned the quads around or just took them off?

also if i just take the quads off all i need to do is get upper and lower control arms right? but untill i buy them i can drive a bit maybe a few weeks with the quads off?

also if i took the quads off could i possibly fit 295's?

i plan on buying my tires and rims this weekend hopfully so trying to get a possitive idea on what to get im goin with draglites and for sure 275/50/15's but if u all think ic ould fit some 295s with the quads off ill do that

10's will be too big. You'll have to make them work. Stick w/ the 8's and the 275's. They will work fine for ya.

alright so hows bbk shorties... o/r h or xpipe wichever doesnt matter then do a slp loudmouth catback

also since i ahve a 84 on my 84 i got duals goin out the back but i havnt checked to see if its got a dual crossmember if it has duals shouldnt it have the dual crossmember or does it go into one pipe then just split into two after the crossmember anyways if i have to swap to the dual crossmemeber is that a hard job or fairly easy

they got them on ebay for like 30-40 bucks

also when i buy my draglites this weekend what backspacing should i get with the 15x8's or does it matter? and doi need to do the 5lug conversion first or will the draglites fit the 4 or 5 lug either way... another thing my 84 has the pny rims on it but i havnt pulled the cap off to check since im not picking her up till this saturday do u think it having the pny rims it already has 5 lug?

I have BBK equal length ceramic shorties. The x pipe will make that system TOO raspy. It's true duals so you would need the dual x member. The wheels. Yes, you can get them in 4 lug and you want the 5.5" backspacing.

Here's what mne sounds like. Only clip I have

so even though i have duals coming out the back its probably not true dual exhaust .... see i payed a couple payments on her and im giving them the full payment this saturday and bring n her home and i wanna order my rims tires and exhaust this weekend as well... so if i end up lookin under her and its not a true dual how hard is it to swap out to a dual crossmember? hours work or more?

also didnt the 84's have a 7.5" rear end i wanna order gears next weekend and i kno ford racing has them for the 8.8" rear end what all do i need to do to swap over to the 8.8"... and isnt the 8.8" for the 5lug cars i just wanna get everything squared away b4 i start buying parts thats not gonna work down the road

Yeah I think the older ones were 7.5. Not sure on the swap but all the 87-93's were 8.8 and 4 lug.

My 8.8 is 4 lug. But you could get 5 lug shafts for it if you wanted. I wouldn't spend the money on gears for the 7.5, get a 8.8 out of the junkyard and build it up.

yea i think the 84-86 were 7.5" im lookin in the magazine here they have by ratech is a ring and pinion intallastion kit for ford 8.8" comes with

intallastion kit includes pinion shims, carrer shims, crush sleeve, pinion seal and nut, ring gear bolts, cover gasket, and bearrings.. < would that be what i need to swap over to 8.8" then just buy my gears and take it to my local shop and have them put it all together?

i plan on getting my tires rims, exhaust, gears, then start switching her over to efi, find a 87-92 block rebuilt it with forged internals, put all that together do all my bolt ons, then power adder + all the bumps and swerves on the way and nic nacs here and their of course.. i wanna atleast have her a good foundation by the end of summer... i have a dialy driver so no worry about having to drive her and the down time
