has anyone else had problems with their fox body door moldings fading, becoming discolored, changing texture, or just plain looking like Sh&t? I have a 91 5.0 with around 80k on it and the turned this wierd color that is not the orginial color that it should be. I am now in the process of sanding them down (with them still attached to car). Once I started sanding it started to bring back the original color. I want to now primer them and then try to paint them with the original trim code paint. Has anyone one ever done that? What other options are out there besided paying $300.00 for new ones and then another 300.00 to get them painted and installed? Thanks for any help!

 

Mine faded and started chipping away white. Get new ones (ebay) (www.50resto.com) and slap em on, or paint the ones you've got on there now.
