Than I guess I should apologize. The IDIOT at Advanced Auto told me that there was a difference in auto trannies for the mustang, a C4 or a C6. Usually the guys at my local center seem to know what they are talking about. But boy was I wrong! Sorry for the dumb question Thanxs for clearing that up for me--I guess I should ask you guys for now on. Than at least I'll get a intelligent answer!!!

aode was 94+ they replaced the aods. i just didnt wanna talk about them since the guy is already slightly confused. just tryin to save him some confusion. and myself for that matter[sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]

in my experiences, haha, people at part stores cant tell you the difference between a chevy waterpump and a ford waterpump. if it doesnt have a part number on it they're like deers in headlights.

Mmmm correct me if I'm wrong... but didn't the AOD-E replace the AOD? All the E means is it's electronic

Thats a good way of putting it -I'll have to remember that one![sm=goodidea.gif] Do any of you guys have any suggestions on what kind of shifter I can get so that I can hit all the gears (1st,2nd,3rd,and overdrive instead of 1st,3rd,overdrive? thanxs again for the help!!

Don't know automatics that well, my dad builds them but that's over my head. Tryin to learn. But, it's in the tranny if I'm not mis-taken, changing the shifter won't do anything. Kickdown cable runs it all
