Newb to fox body question.
Hey guys, I'm looking at an `87 2.3L vert.... i'm sure you've heard this question more than once [8D] but......
How hard would it be to swap the engine to a n/a 5.0L? I've heard the bodies are the same structurally, and that the front brakes suck on a 4 cylinder. Asides from that I'm assuming I'd need new front springs to compensate for weight.
Will the automatic transmission hold together? will it mate properly? will the rear end hold together?
With the actual install of a 5.0, is it difficult?
Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Newb to fox body question.
just get a wrecked 5.0 and start swappin need plenty of space!!!! the auto for the four will have to go and the brakes need to be v8 spec at least. but they suck also! u can leave the four cylinder spring in place for a drop in the front!
