we have rev limiters? sometimes my throttle sticks at 7000rpms and i have to jiggle the gas pedal with my foot to get it loose

i brought it up first i believe, but yeah i dont guess i have a rev limiter with the car being speed density and all.Do you all think i did any harm to the engine? It hit 7 about 8 or 9 times on the way home with the fugging pedal getting jamed into the crease in the floor mat. I turned off the ignition within 2-3 seconds however.

If I was to replace the throttle cable what lenght is it and would it be best to get it right from Ford? Here some updated pics also.
