Default 100k miles and a blower

I was just wondering what you guys thought of running a vortech or kenne bell on a 110k mile 5.0 in my cobra. The motor is very healthy and strong, no funny noises or oil burning issues. I was thinking that a supercharger and maybe a set of heads would equal a pretty fun ride. Im just a little worried about the miles on the stock short block, but than i have heard of people running these cars with that sort of setup and miles and not having much of an issue. Plus my car isnt my daily driver. Any opions would be great.

i say go for it. with a good tune up and making sure it doesnt make a bad A/F ratio and keeping up with the oil changes it shouldnt be a problem. my '92 gt has 203 thousand something miles and runs just as good as the day i got it and you can bet as soon as i can afford it im strapping something to it.

I have a buddy with a 95 cobra and he is running the vortech deal on his . Do like eric said and make sure you have plenty of air /fuel going on . such as fuel pump ,Fpr and a really good tune after wards P.S My buddy has about over a 150k on his car and it runs like a champ . Also check for compression !!!
