more fuel?
I just sold my 96 4.6 car and have bought a fox body... I have always wanted a black one but i come up on a white one with 17 inch saleen wheels so i bought it. i know it has a cam in it and i don't have to cam card yet from the guy i bought it from so i don't know what cam is in it, but anyways it has agt-40 heads and the explorer intake to match them, a cold air intake and a bigger throttle body...dunno what size. it runs stout when you get the rpm's up and seems like it stutters at lower rpm's. it idle's high, around 1500 rpm because of the timing, but that's where it runs its best. i just wonder if it has a big enough fuel pump and injectors for the extra air that it is getting. i know very little about the 302's because i'm use to the modular motor. if anyone has any ideas on it please let me know on how to make it scream like it does at about 4 grand. thanks

also i would reset the idle http://www.muscularmustangs.com/idlereset.php or even do all 5 of the steps on this page http://www.muscularmustangs.com/maintain.php
if it has a stock fuel pump on it chances are you should upgrade. i would also hook a fuel pressure guage to the shrader valve on the fuel rail. check pressure and if you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator adjust it to 44, with the vacuum hose removed.
