My friend has an 88 GT. Where is the ecu? Does it use an external eprom? Anybody into chipping them? Any .bin files you'd like to share?

Look behind the passenger side kick panel. When you buy a chip it rides between the harness and the plug for the puter. I am not much for those chips out there. Get a mass air system and run that until you make some serious HP. Then step up to a digital system and create your own fuel maps.

not that I have. They have a program that you load onto a laptop and plug into your car. Then you run down the street and make adjustments on the computer accordingly. Very effective and very efficient, but not cheap.
