Hi I have a 91 LX hatch, I recently got some GT trim (everything but the nose) that I was thinking about installing. Right now I only want to put on the side skirts and the piece behind the doors, since I’m going to keep the LX bumpers for now. My question is how do they install? I’m assuming trim adhesive on the top, but on the bottom of the side skirts there are cut outs for screws but no holes are cut in the body for them to go in, do I need to drill holes for screws? or is there another way of doing this? I figured I try to get some advice before I do anything stupid. Thanks in advance for any help.

have you actually seen how this would look ? ...i can't imagine this looking good at all personaly.

leave it an lx, if u want a gt sell it and get one

I kindof rigged it up and it looked ok I thought, the only thing I like about the GT look is the side skirts. Crevini has a LX dress up kit and one of the things is basically the GT side skirts that don't say Mustang GT. If it looks good I'm going to fill in the Mustang GT part.

I'm not sure, body filler usually dosen't like plastic I'll have to find out exactly what to use. But back to the point do they clip in, screw in or what?

go to a paint and body shop and ask them for some 40/50 filler and this will work perfect on plastic or fibergalss.
