What exactly are pushrods and strokers an all that stuff? thx

hmm pretty open ended question. Pushrods are the link between the lifter and the rocker arm. They transfer the horizontal motion of the cam lobes into vertical motion to open and close the valves. As for strokers, you better be mosr specific.

Orange=rocker arm
Green=polylock
Blue=pushrod guide plate
Yellow=lifter
Red=pushrod

I think he's just looking for general tech myshifter, an i couldnt find my link to strokers.... what is stroking, de-stroking, etc.... it was a good general tech article that really explained the basics.... but i cant find it now...

stroking is when you increase the increase the engine displacement by increasing piston stroke
