RE: chart for 5.0 intakes?
wow, that SSI is pretty extreme.
just checked out some dyno results, and thats probably the sickest intake ive seen.
it looks amazing too.

RE: chart for 5.0 intakes?
this page has a ton of comparisons, including some intakes. Doesnt have Trickflow or BBK which are really good...

If that artricle doesn't point you towards the BBK SSI, then I don't know what would......
Over 30HP @ 4850RPM.......41HP at 5350RPM!....that's insane in my opinion for just an intake bolt onto a stock 5.0l. Granted the SSI unit comes with it's own "high pressure fuel rail" installed (which some still debate) that's supposed to add additional HP. That could be the difference that makes it a little different than the GT40.
I'm going to use the BBK SSI when I get to the top side of the engine.....I'm still working the block teardown in my sparetime!
That ****er looks like something out of Battlestar Galactica!,

I like the BBK, so don't take this as I'm knocking it, but I don't like some of the tests they run...they're flawed or biased, however you want to look at it.
Am I the only one that noticed the comparison is between the stock intake/stock TB and the BBK intake/75mm TB? The larger TB allows a lot more airflow..... why can't anyone just do a striaght up comparison?
