How do you break a 5.0?

How do you break a 5.0?
I've heard of some people destroying trannys, rears and motors, but then other people report that they drive their cars hard and have no problems. So what is it that causes these cars to break?

luck time and abuse.
if you're just driving around on weekends and leaving the odd cloud
of smoke at a light your engine and all will last longer than if
you're going to the track every weekend and doing full blast launches
all day with a 125shot.
Seems like 400+rwhp is doable and fairly reliable on modified-stock engines.
plenty of em in here.

Use a 4cyl T5 for a 5.0 conversion and then side step the clutch off the rev limiter.
Do a 2-3 shift on an 11sec nitrous car on a stock T5 without using the clutch.
Spray 300hp through a nozzle kit on a stock longblock you just pulled out of a Lincoln. (It won't blow, but you will need new headgaskets.)
Don't bother reading the direction on the boost controller and spike 18psi through a set of AFRs with a T70 on stock shortblock. (Bring a broom and dustpan for this one.)
Rearends are a different story. I've seen guys go deep 10s on a totally stock rearend and leave wheels up every launch. Stock axles are broken by heavy cars and hard launchs.
