fuel psi level.....
I just installed a bbk 255lph fuel pump in my car, and I figured with over twice the pump rate of the stock pump i would need a lot less fuel pressure. I have it at 31 psi right now, and I ran the scanner on my car and it says the car is running lean. What do you guys suggest I should try setting my fuel pressure at? Oh I am also running 12 degrees timing.

Bump it a little at a time. Factory is like 39psi. Even w/ the bigger pump, your ecm still tells the injectors how much fuel to provide. So the stock setting should be fine.

RE: fuel psi level.....
just because your flowing more fuel to the rails.. doesnt mean your gonna get more into the engine... our cars run a return system on the fuel rail, which means that no matter how big your pump is... your FPR will only allow 39 psi to remain... the rest will go back to the tank
so your fuel pressure should be at 39psi like pro said... not 31 (your probably viewing your fuel pressure with the vac line still attached
