Any idea where #2 ends up, blacksnake? Could that be safely spliced back into the manifold or blocked off all together?

Thanks alot, man. I owe ya one.

2. Ends up in the crank case, Basicly back into the motor. It circulates.

Why do you want to block it off? Doesnt hurt performance. Just remove the EGR valve and its preety much useless.

I'm trying to plan out a project I'm going to be working on soon.
So if #2 can be rendered useless by removing the egr valve, would it create a vacuum leak or would one be better off sealing it shut? Are any of those other circled areas concerning the EGR system?

No vacum leak, you will need to block it off, they sell a plate to cover the EGR ports. Called EGR delete kit.

If my memory serves me correctly, the vacuum line on the front of the intake goes to the smog pump or some other emissions crap. Its been so long since I've had any of it on there, but I'm pretty sure thats what it goes to. Just plug her off and it should be fine.

That's alright, man, I appreciate the help.

So if that's for EGR gasses, can that safely be plugged or opened into the intake without any adverse effects?

is #3 just supplying the PCV with fresh air or something else?

What vacuum line infront of intake? (#5) I don't recall.

Thanks alot blacksnake, you're helping me an aweful lot.
