Explorer intake installation help
Hey guys. I have a '91 302 right now and am in the middle of installing an explorer intake on it. I have removed the stock upper, fuel rails and injectors and am about to remove the distributor. One question about the distributor, can you manually turn the rotor to point to the #1 cylinder or do you need to crank the engine to do it? I also need help with installing the upper manifold. I noticed there are a lot more vacuum lines inderneath whiich I knjow get plugged but I am not exactly sure which ones and how to plug them. Just with rubber plugs? If you could be detailed in explaining that would be helpful, thanks alot.

Why do you want to point the rotor to the #1???
The important thing is to mark the collar on the Dizzy so that you don't reinstall it 180* out of spec.
You should be able to move the rotor freely once it's removed to line the gears up on the input shaft.
