Did you check your fly wheel?

 

no i havent...thats my next step i guess...pull the tranny again..dam

 

The EFI HOs were 50oz. I believe the 84 is a 28oz. I do not think they are interchangeable.

 

in 302s from 79 down , they where 28 ounce
from 80 up they where 50 ounce

 

and it doesnt matter, flat tappet or roller motor, its the same thing

well...this is wierd....i changed my roller rockers back too stock rockers cuz one of them kept comming loose cuz i went and bought the cheap pro comp ones....started up motor..smooth as day one..no more vibration....why and what woud of caused that? on 10 of them i cant move the roller rocker back and forth..and they are grooved real bad on the bottom. i had the pedestil mount type...heads are not studded.

 

maybe a loose nut/bolt somewhere they you tightend after you replaced it?

 

no idea...but its got me stumped
