perfect, got all the info I needed in this thread... installing some used bbk equal length shorties and H-pipe on Thursday.

Any advice on installing ELS headers? I hear they can be a bit more of a pain in the rear that normal shorties.

 

ive heard people say to lift the engine up a lil

 

take a 2x4 and pry the bitch in there haha

 

must use new gaskets, bolts depends on how old they are but you can get new header bolts in summit for like 30-40 bucks and they won't loosen up...remember the anti-sieze!

 

equals arent to hard to install. Just get yourself some different bolts. I would recommend what i used they are an allen head bolt but also have a 7/16 head and alot easier to get in there and move them around.
