LockNess Monster, BigFoot, Fuel Pump Relay
[sm=wtf.gif]
I have read on several ford forums about the elusive Fuel Pump Relay.
AND no one can seem to find this relay on their particular Mustang.

In the scheme of items that have been suggested as being bad when a car won't start, the fuel pump relay was mentioned as a possible culprit. (Even though at this time I do not think my FP Relay is bad)
However, no one can seem to locate this relay. I have a 95 GT 5.0 and even after talking with a ford dealer parts man, I still can not find the relay.
If anyone knows the whereabouts and maybe can supply a picture - then you may have just found something that ranks up there with the Lock Ness Monster, Big-Foot, and how crop circles are created.

RE: LockNess Monster, BigFoot, Fuel Pump Relay
lmfao. yeah its freaking hilarious! I had to replace mine 2 weeks ago, the hardest part was finding the damn thing. On my car (87-93 bodystyle) it is under the driver's seat. if you slide your seat back all of the way you might be able to see it, but the eeasiest way is to just take your seat out. theres only 4 bolts holding it down anyway. under the seat you will see this little bump in the carpet with a slit in it. look under there. attached to a little metal bracket is ....... THE ELUSIVE FUEL PUMP RELAY!!!! TADAAAAA!!!!! lol. good luck my friend.

Simple....the fuel pump relay is not a stand alone component, it is housed/inside the Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) assembly, which is located between the coolant overflow tank and bracket.....check its location.....

If you have a problem with the FP relay, EEC relay, Radiator Fan relays, A/C relay....the unit (CCRM module) has to be replaced as an assembly ($$$$...ouch)....so a good diagnostic is recommended....
