Unpredictable Engine Stop
kevstang87,
Now, here's a man after my own heart. Details, opinions, locations, circuit operation, wiring color codes and good reasons. Bless you, kevstang87. I'll do it. Thanks.

kevstang87 & All,
Well, I've got that little fuel pump relay sucker in my hot little hand. All this time, I thought that bracket under the driver's seat was part of the seat mechanism. I found no mention of a fuel pump relay in any of the Mustang fix-me books I have. After you pinpointed it for me, I did find it on the last page of the electrical system schematics in the back of the Haynes book. Anyway, I'm replacing it this evening. I'll let you all know how it went.
I'm gonna assume this is the fix to my problem and thank all you guys for your help and patience, in advance.

Please let me know if this worked for you. I've had 3 ignition modules, installed properly, in my 95 5-speed, 137k miles, since I've owned it (2 months). 2 came with the car, and the third I got from AutoZone. The third has been in the car for a month with no issues, but it did NOT resolve my cut-out problem immediately after replacement. Problem either went away on its own or is electrical in nature, maybe a loose connection that got un-loosed a month ago when I was working on my alarm. Well, it is back with a vengence. Left me stranded at the hospital today. Hoping the car will start (it always has before) when cooled down. I'll follow this post.
Things I've done to troubleshoot:
Bypassed fuel cut-off switch in trunk.
Replaced TFI and used the grease properly.
Radio does NOT turn off when car craps out. Tach does die, comes alive again when car does.
I'm guessing spark and fuel pressure is next on the list. I'll keep the proper tools with me once I get the stang home.
This is maddening, hope your problem gets resolved Old John. Hope mine does, too, for that matter.
