best tranny for about 1100 bucks

i was jsut wondering if there was a big difference between the d&d tranny and the z spec t5 or should i juSt go to a shop and have it rebuilt. The tranny has 180k on it and 2nd is hard to engage.

depends on if you need 1st to be lower or higher, those trannies are bout equal, the d&d might be better.

i have 4.10's and personally i like them w/ a 3.35 1st gear.

i would go w/ d&d unless the 2.95 1st gear is a big thing for you.
