How hard are you guys launching?
How hard are you guys launching on slicks? How bad do you guys spin with 300rwhp and a set of slicks, only 4 banger springs up front, no other mods on the suspension.

My last run at the quarter, i ran a 12.5 3 times in a row with a 1.8-19 60. Thats not bad at all if you ask me considering i got stock suspension and just ran on slicks. I didnt launch it either. Im gettin ready to drive the 100 miles to the nearest 1/4 mile strip again at Commerce Georgia. Never ran at the local 1/8 mile strips. But im gettin ready to go so i was wondering about how hard i can launch my car with some mickey thompson ET's, they're 315's...lol...still not sure if they're gonna fit, im takin em up there on a spare set of Pro stars i got then boltin em on at the track.

i will next week...yeah i was doin 1st gear...not enough heat...thanks...wasn't sure if the bfg's would hold up or not.

Drop the air in those down to 14psi or so, and do a moderately long 2nd gear burnout. They might hold that 4k rpm launch.

i was gonna run like 14-15psi and then smoke em real nice and good, they came off my friends 92 hatch, they fit his car but rubbed a little over bumps. I was going to try and launch at about 3K and see where i get with that. I hope they'll grab. If not im just gonna floor it the good ole way.
