Default TAIL LIGHTS

i have a black 92 mustang gt w/ stock black gt taillights that are faded and scratched. i want to get rid of the scratches on the lens, and restore the black plastic so it looks polished and new. Any suggestions on how i should go about doing this? i want to do it right. If i have to re-paint them, i want to get the right kind of paint. What kind of scratch removal product should i use on the tail light lens'? Any advise that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

Default RE: TAIL LIGHTS

I know that you can resurface the front lights with some 1000 grit sandpaper and some clearcoat spray paint.

Aside from that, if they look like crap, then you have nothing to lose by trying something to make them look better.

Bust out some masking tape and sandpaper and tear it up.
