So w/ my AC on (or defrost), my 90 has problems trying to idle. It will search for a minute and then finally die if I don't gas it. W/o AC on, it idles fine [around 800-900]. I've done some mods, but it did this before I rebuilt it....

sounds as if the a/c pully is putting too much strain on your crank pully. it might be time for a new a/c clutch or pully. try spraying some litheum grease around thet pully.

its going to be a couple months before I have the change to have them re seated and ported so Im in no rush.
