Default what year?
how do you tell what year motor you have? my car is a 82 but the motor is not., it's fuelinjected like a 86-95 or somein

If you had somewhere to look up engine codes you could try that. Maybe a dealer or some website. Also there's a possibility it was converted and you still have the stock block.

thats right ,,,i got a 94 block it says F4 ,,my 79 block says D9,,and my 72 block says D2..if you have an 80 model it will be in the E#S
