Default interior question

hey guys I am going to be painting some trim pieces in my 5.0... unfortunately the interior is white and super hard to keep clean... i have all the materials but i am just looking for a good how to article on prep and paint for interiors....thanks in advance

**already searched and found tons of pics but no good step by step

any body else have any sites with a lil more detail i.e. what grit sandpaper... do you need a clearcoat... how many coats is ideal ... ?

just mail the paint and pieces to me. im no professional but ive done prep and paint plenty of times to have confidence =D

This is what I do.

Remove part and get remove any peice that you dont want painted
wipe down with mineral spirits (paint thinner)
wipe down with rubbing alcohol
spray on primer/prep in light coats (2 to 3 will be sufficient)
spray on paint/dye in light coats (2-3)
Let set for a while (1-2 hours)
reinstall into car
