Default RE: back firing?

I have been experiencing the exact same problem, also with a bbk fenderwell. I have replaced the o2s, full tune-up, replaced and set tps, replaced fuel pressure regulator, replaced egr and sensor. The car will idle fine, even romping on it in the driveway. Take it on the road, 2 miles later, backfire city. Shut ignition down, drop the clutch, and all is fine again for a few miles. Car almost sounds like it is sucking air and choking. WTF
