I am curious.. how long does it take to do the AC delete with the Ford Racing ac delete kit...

and for those of u who have done it what belt do u use if u dont have an air pumped hooked up and no pulley down there?

i have a trick flow ac delete kit. which moves the belt tentioner over where the ac compressor was.

it took me about 30 mins to do it. but i had to make several trips to the auto parts store to get the correct belt. they reccomended a belt that was about a half inch to long. but im pretty sure that was because of my underdrive pullies

why used the kit as some stangs didn't come with ac you can go to google to see the routing of the belt

that maybe but I think they had a idler in place of the ac... which is what u get in a ac delete kit..

well I did find out that my belt was routed wrong.. so I have to get the correct belt tomorrow and get it installed around the AC (ac not connected)

btw do u guys think there is a difference between having the AC delete and running around the ac comprressor although it is not plugged in, and ther lines are not hooked up

I wonder if there is any more drag between my current ac or a idler


btw anyone here use a non p/s setup? with a power steering car?
