what's wrong with the typhon?????
um, weak metal, too much flash, ports do not line up....it is garbage, to make it flow like the Edelbrock will require hours of clean up

I wish that there was a dyno around my area. I can tell you guys that I gained quite a bit of power when I swapped over the intake. I also had a larger MAF, larger TB and a CAI to support the gains also.

I disagree, the pro-products intake will not be 3 hp less than the rpm2,
there was tests done vs the rpm1 and rpm2 and between them there was a 10hp difference.

the pro-products is almost the same as the rpm1 but takes time to align the ports,
I have a pro-products intake, and when I had enough money I got a rpm2 and it is better.

ANy one ever run with a edelbrok victor or voctor jr. thinking of getting one. in summit it says its designed to work with a few edelbrok heads. would they work with afr 185s? Also i was thinking about a truck intake. anybody ever tried that, looks like the holley lower intake is the same. ive always heard they were real good intake systems on thoose trucks, if you could fit it under the hood it might work out nice.

I noticed a fairly big increase in power in my car when I installed my ported cobra intake, and I have very simular modifications to yours, so I would say go for it. I got mine used off of a message board, if you are looking for used I would say that is your best bet

good luck
Kev
I have my upper and lower off right now, waiting for heads, and considering a port/polish job on both. Worth it? Mods listed below and the heads will likely be gt-40.
