How to bypass egr valve??!!
Obviously there is a range of what the stock regulators would put out from the factory.
All the inspection things I have found have focused around the 40 range.

If you are running slightly rich at 30psi, then I think you have another problem that needs to be sorted out.
The computer assumes ~40 psi, so you need to be somewhat close to that to have accurate fuel metering.
Maybe the MAF is not calibrated correctly?
Have you checked codes?

My fuel pressure with the vacume on is at 34 and with it off it is at 40...is that a problem?? I removed my EGR with a block off plate I made and just left the sensor on(took it off the valve) and glued it in about half way...no problems yet and it cost nothing
