i have a stock 87 block, and im putting on some cobra 1.7 rr's, gt40 lower and 96 explorer upper.... most good deals on tb's i find are on 70mm for some reason, if i get one on the intake would it hurt any? i really want to get a nice 65mm but there are so many good deals on 70mm tb's

keep your stock one until you decide to get higher flowing heads and/or a stroker kit

if you're doing the intake and such a 65 will probably help you out some. Don't know about the 70 though, seems like a little too much.
