Whats the best gear ratio for a T5 with a 3.35 first? I just bought a rebuilt tranny from D&D and was wondering if I should go 3.55 or 3.73, I plan on building it up to about 250bhp at some point, and the car doesnt see highway/commuter use.

3.73 is what most t5 guys go with

We run 3.73s and they are awesome. The car will really get of the line. As far as highway cruising goes its not that bad. If you had to take it out youd run round 2500 -2700 in 5th.

If you plan on staying under 300hp the 3:73's would be my first choice. Might even go 4:10 since its not your DD.

with a 3.35 first and 4.11's first gear is useless. for street driving you will be taking off in second most of the time.

i had 3.73 on my car and I loved them... 4.10s wouldnt be a bad choice, but if you are planning on FI I would do 3.73

Go with a 3.90 gear if you can't decide!
