assuming the new part should be threaded all the way in to the lower intake manifold like the old part was........ i cracked it. took my car to MMP and let some professionals fix it. those guys are gmf's.

does anyone elses gauge read full hot with the alternator on (engine off) with the headlights on?

if i turn the headlights off it stops moving lol.....

I've bought some things from them. They're good guys. ...right down the street from my old apt.
