Default Spring Rate

I am definetly new to coil overs so I just thought that I would ask. What should be the determining factors when deciding on a spring rate for a coil over setup?

BTW, I already have a D&D K member and will going with the a arms and from coil over kit very soon.

Well, it will be pretty much a strictly street car (90% on the street) but when I do go to the track I want it to be able to perform. As long as the ride isnt worst than stock I would be OK.

It is possible to strike a balance with good equipment. You will not ever get a "perfect" set up for the street and total performance at the track without adjusting between the two, but you can find a comfortable balance. Ride quality is all a function of how far you want to lean towards the street or track.

I just want something thats going to be decent on the street. BTW, I consider the stock suspension w/ 90K on it decent so it shouldnt be that bad and I can still get something definetly good for the track/launching on the street.
