t-5 trans id
I have a t-5 trans. the tag is missing . i found two numbers on the trans housing 1352-???-921 and 1352-???-939. these are cast in the housing. i forgot the middle numbers. it is suppost to be out of a 92 gt. i checked the id chart from ford muscle. i'm thinking the numbers on the housing are not id numbers pertaining to the year. thanks joe

yes, those are just the casting numbers.
double check the tailshaft of the t-5. the tag is on the upper part. you may see better through the trans hole while sitting in the car.
use a mirror too.
look for the end of the trans, then look for a ring of bolts about 2-3 inches in front of the shifter. those should be the trans tailshaft to transmission bolts. the tag is mounted on those.
