I'm probably gonna get flamed for this, but Maaco painted my car for $600. They did a great job. I spoke with the manager beforehand. He asked me to let them do it because not many mustang owners, hell anyone with a decent ride, will bring their rides to them. This was a opportunity for them to advertise. They put six coats of clear on it for no extra charge. I just made sure I did all the prep work before taking the car in. I received lots of compliments on the paint. Peeps were really surprised when I told them who painted it. It worked out well for both of us.
