You might want to check your window motor bushings. A while back our driver's side wouldnt go up unless you cranked the car. It did it again the next time I went to wash it but it wouldnt go up period. We took the motor out after determining it wasnt the switch and noticed that the bushing were shot. The motor turned when we had it out of the door but just barely. We replaced the bushings and it performs better than our newer cars. You can get them from 5.0 resto for $6. Id recomend redoing both windows while you were at it.

if your not getting any noise from the motor its deffinately an electrical problem. its more than likely that switch going out. take the panel off and move those wires around to try and isolate the source. do the same thing with the wires going to the motor.

motor may be burned out... could be a loose wire have you removed the door panel and visually inspected the window motor, if niether switch works then its gotta be motor related, do the other windows operate from the drivers side switch panel?

Boss_Hotrod is most likely right.
