Thanks for the welcome. I will be taking pics and posting them up tomorrow. Funny thing is, I always considered myself a chevy man but for no real reason. Since driving this little 5.0 fox vert, i have been unable to take the smile off of my face.

You are correct about the sn95 five liters

ill tell you the diff, 87-93(fuel injected) the HO had 225 hp stock, the regular 5.0 had 175 stock, the difference is 50hp, HO = just means an additional 50 hp. now on like our 83, 84 85 and stuff like they some had 215, then like 81-82 and stuff like that had 205, if im not mistaken the 94-95 only had 215 also. to answer future questions your best years of the 5.0's were 88-89.

alright listen up ladies,

79-81 had the puny 255ci V8

82 saw the reintroduction of the 302 HO

82-84 had flat tappet cams

85+ switched to hyd. roller

85-92 had forged pistons

86 was the first year of SEFI, had flat top pistons 200BHP

87-93 had small improvenment which netted 225BHP
