Default millage

when i had my emissions test done it came back that the car had almost nothing coming out the pipes because it was running a little lean. is this good or bad? also, with a 5.0, what kind of millage should i be getting? that other post on bad millage got me to thinking im getting worse millage then i should. i get 12-14 mpg. does my test say anything about how the car is running? it has the stock gears, my mod are listed in my sig.

It can have a lot to do with how and where you drive. Check out some of the stuff listed in the other post about this.

i think you're doing pretty good but it definitely has to do with how and where you drive. since gas prices have been getting higher by the second i've been driving pretty calm. i get about 20 on the hwy but still only about 10 driving around town with my '95.

I get around 20-25 on average with everything I do, I drive very calmly most of the time though.

I get 12-13 in town; 34 on the highway; gotta love 2.73s. I think my tune up, headers, and off road H help too.

I get around 17mpg with mostly town driving and some highway driving. thats with all my mods. the 3.73's really eat up the gas fast.
