I met the 87-89 ford 5.0L calibrator/tuner
I met the ford calibrator for the 87, 88, and 89 Mustang t5 manual.
A calibrator is like a car tuner. He tweaks the factor software to work with the engine. He decides what RPM the engine idles at, and a/f etc.
I think that is cool as hell. He's just a dude. I thought he would be a big mustang buff.
oh, and today I met this guy rich at "cruzing telegraph". He was a tech/inventor for SVO in the early/mid 80's. He helped build and decide what components went into the first few SVO crate motors. He has an 85 GT hatch and his test car was where they tested all of these engine combos. He showed me pics taken in his garage for 80's and early 90's mustang magazines. He said there was Nothing aftermarket during the 80's. He used to drag race and there were no weild racing rims back then. He used factory to holes and 83 T bird mini spare tires for skinnies up in front
